Project Name: Fire and Rescue CIP - Linton Hall Station
Project Type: New construction of a Fire and Rescue Station
Project Description: This project will construct a new, 29,000 square foot fire and rescue station located in the vicinity of Linton Hall Road and Devlin Road. The budget also includes the cost for apparatus, a pumper and an ALS ambulance/medic unit. This project is being coordinated by the Nokesville Volunteer Fire Department. Career staffing is proposed to be a supplemental 24 hour pumper and a fully staffed 24 hour medic unit.

3/10/2003Career staffing for this station is included in the County Executive's Proposed FY 2004 Fiscal Plan. If adopted in April 2003 by the BOCS, staffing will include full time staffing (24/7) for and advanced life support (ALS) medic unit, full daytime staffing for a fire suppression engine/pumper Monday through Friday, and a partial career crew supplemented by volunteers for evenings and weekends.
