Project Name: Fire and Rescue CIP - Antioch Road
Project Type: New Fire and Rescue Station
Project Description: The Antioch Road Fire and Rescue Station is approximately 18,400 square foot station and is approved to be built at 5901 Antioch Road with gated access through the Dominion Valley Community. The station will be equipped with a pumper and an advanced life support (ALS) ambulance and basic life support (BLS)ambulance. Career personnel staffing is proposed as a 24 hour pumper and 24 hour medic unit.

4/15/2008Slab has been poured. Steel supports are currently going up and roof is expected to be on next week.
1/24/2008Site work has begun. Footers have been poured and they are working on getting ready to pour the slab.
8/13/2007Relocation of Novec easement has been approved and work should begin in 2-8 weeks. Construction contract is going out to bid and project is moving along.
1/22/2007This project is moving forward, plans were submitted to planning for a 2nd review. Chief Bird has met with Novec to have power line moved on the property.
8/4/2006Original site plans have been taken off hold and are in the process of being reviewed. This project is proceeding forward with the original proffered site.
7/12/2006A new site being evaluated, this could delay the project by 6 months.
