Project Overview
Project Name: FCM: Fire Station 22
Project Type: New Construction
Project Description: The facility will be single story, with four bays totaling 21,000 square feet. The station will house a pumper, an advanced life support ambulance, a heavy rescue, and a collapse support unit. 24-hour career staffing will be provided for the pumper, medic, and rescue. The building will include sleeping quarters, a kitchen, dining area, day room, physical fitness room, training room, storage for heavy tactical rescue equipment, and offices. The station will also include three to four apparatus bays and an area for personal protective equipment storage, and cleaning. Support areas shall include a SCBA compressor room, EMS storage room, maintenance shop and storage areas, Personal Protective Gear laundry facilities, indoor and outdoor training props, and an onsite fueling system. The Facility shall have an emergency generator capable of supporting sustained EMS, Fire response, and Rescue/Medic operations.
