11/12/2008The opening of the diamond fields has been complete and pending the installation of the needed utilities for lights and irrigation, the project completion remains somewhat open ended as it pertains to the back section and lights for the fields, roadways and parking lots.

11/12/2008Toll Brothers proffer work scheduled to be completed in 90-120 days. The five diamond fields have been completed and a punch list remains to be completed by Toll. The diamond fields are currently in play (there are no lights or infrastructure in place - Appeal on Planning Commission's decision to not permit lights to BOCS slated in November or December

11/12/2008There remains approximately 1.6 million dollars in proffer dollards to be used for Silver Lake, Long Park and Catharpin Recreational Park. These funds along with the recreational trails grant funds from VDOT will aid in completing a large portion of the remaining infrastructure items which will support the irrigation system that is installed awaiting a final connection to the irrigation pond/well system as well as the much needed field lights.
