Project Overview
Project Name: FCM: Public Safety Training Center Master Plan Update 18C71001
Project Type: Master Planning
Project Description: This project develops a master plan to identify improvements and additions to the Public Safety Training Center. The training center supports the recruit training of police and fire and rescue personnel and ongoing training for active duty and volunteer personnel. *** In 2005 and then again 2014, master plans were developed and updated to plan and accommodate projected growth for Fire and Police needs at the PSTC. The updated (2018) master plan will establish a roadmap for design of future facility needs over the next 20-year period to meet existing and future training needs. The PSTC Master Plan will identify and outline needed improvements at the current PSTC location as well as provide a road map of future long-term capital facility needs for public safety personnel.
