6/25/2020The construction of a liner equipped with a leachate collection system is required to meet State and Federal regulations in order for the landfill to continue to operate and accept waste.

8/12/2021The Contractor has finished liner installation work and all other related work. The Contractor is installing litter fence and is working on punch list items. Cell construction is essentially complete and substantial completion is anticipated by or before end of August and final completion of the project is anticipated by mid September 2021. The certification report is being prepared for submission to DEQ in order to obtain certificate-to-Operate Cell IIIA and is expected to be received from DEQ during the month of October 2021.
6/25/2020Design for the construction of liner cell Phase III, Cell A will be started in July 2020 and completed in November 2021.
